One civilian was reported killed and up to five others were injured in alleged Russian forces or Syrian regime airstrikes or artillery shelling on Dar Eza in Aleppo, Syria on February 18th, 2020 according to local sources.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights said that attack targeted a vegetables market in the city, which led to the killing of a civilian. The attack also led to partially destroying many shops of the market.

A tweet from @fawaz_jwaid referred to the two civilians that were injured as being “displaced persons”.

According to the Local Coordination Committee of Syria, at 14:42, the regime forces launched artillery shelling that resulted in damage to the market mosque and the popular vegetable market and the death of Taleh from the village of Al-Tamoura and five civilians wounded. The Violations Documentation Center reported a similar casualty toll of one civilian killed and five others injured.

Sources were conflicted as to whether Russia or the regime were responsible for the airstrikes and/or artillery strikes.
