One civilian was injured and one civilian was killed when at least one missile struck agricultural land in the Qarara area, east of Khan Yunis on August 7, 2022.
The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights reported that at 7:10am, two Palestinians were wounded by shrapnel from a missile launched by Israeli airforce warplanes on agricultural land in Qarara village, east of Khan Yunis. @emadabusaied also tweeted that two serious injuries resulted from the strikes.
Five days later, on August 12th, the young man Anas Khaled Anshasi, 22 years old, died of the injuries he sustained during the attack on Qarara village. Mondoweiss reported that Anas was a member of a nine person family and worked as a taxi driver. He was an active athlete and was involved in the local weight lifting community. According to Mondoweiss, he was injured while crossing through a market and was succumbed to his wounds.
Multiple sources, including @AlMayadeenLive and @SafaPs, identified Israeli raids being carried out on the town of Qarara but did not identify casualties.
Nabd Alqarara posted on Facebook that agricultural land in front of a mosque Sheikh Hamouda was struck by the bombardment and that paramedics rushed to the location to transfer the injured.
