A worker in the municipality of Jabalia al-Nazla was injured when Israeli airstrikes allegedly hit the vehicle he was in on August 7, 2022.

The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights reported that at 5pm on August 7th the Israeli Air Force launched artillery shells at a landfill in Jabalia Municipality, resulting in the injury of a worker and damage to a garbage truck.

Palestinian news agency “Wafa” added that the truck was struck during its work east of the town and one of the screws working on board was injured, and transferred to the hospital.

The Municipality of Jabalia Nazla posted on Facebook that “the occupation forces targeted our crews while carrying out their national duty east of Jabalia city, resulting in the injury of a worker and the destruction of a vehicle (shipping, collecting and deporting waste).”

All of the sources that reported on the incident attributed the incident to Israeli airstrikes.
