Airwars assessment
According to several sources, a married couple identified by name were reported killed in central al Qaim following a Coalition or Iraq Air Force strike.
According to al Qaim News, the Iraqi air force killed the couple in Qaim district. Al Grbia Al Hadath said the couple died when their home at al Huseiba in central al Qaim was struck. It did not attribute responsibility.
Yaqein instead referred to the Shelling of aircraft, International Alliance, which targeted residential areas of Qaim, west of Anbar, and the deaths and injuries of civilians.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Attached to this civilian harm incident is a provisional reconciliation of the Pentagon's declassified assessment of this civilian harm allegation, based on matching date and locational information.
The declassified documents were obtained by Azmat Khan and the New York Times through Freedom of Information requests and lawsuits filed since March 2017, and are included alongside the corresponding press release published by the Pentagon. Airwars is currently analysing the contents of each file, and will update our own assessments accordingly.
