One person was reportedly killed and another injured when an alleged Israeli airstrike hit a motorbike on the Qasr-Hermel road near to the town of al-Qasr on 26 September 2024.
The National News Agency, official news agency of the government of Lebanon, reported that one person died in the incident and one injured person was transferred to al-Batoul Hospital. The injury was deemed “serious”. Lebanon Now News also reported the incident and placed responsibility for the attack on the Israeli air force as did other posts on social media.
Ralf Richa, via Facebook, specified that the alleged air strike occurred on the Qasr-Hermel road and Tripoli National Website reported a raid in the al-Qasr area with an accompanying photo showing a plume of smoke rising in the sky. MetnOnline shared a picture allegedly of the struck motorbike, which was engulfed in flames.
No further information is available at this time about the reported victims of the incident.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli Military.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the Qasr-Hermel Road (طريق قصر-الهرمل) between Qasr and Hermel, for which the generic coordinates are: 34.476145, 36.436102. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
