On 26 November 2024, two Syrian nationals were reportedly killed in an alleged Israeli airstrike on a farm in the town of Beit Salibi in the west of Baalbek-Hermel Governorate in Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley, eastern Lebanon.

The alleged Israeli airstrike was reported by multiple news sources and the Lebanese Civil Defense. The CivildefenseLB Facebook page reported that two bodies were pulled from beneath the rubble in the aftermath of the attack, a claim corroborated by multiple other sources.

According to a post to Twitter/X from @znnleb, the two people who were killed in the alleged airstrike were a shepherd and his wife, both of whom were originally from Syria.

Video shared of the strike captured plumes of smoke rising above a village skyline.
