Airwars Assessment
At approximately 6:15 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, between one and three civilians reportedly sustained injuries following alleged Israeli airstrikes in the al-Sayyar neighborhood of the town of Kfar Reman of the Nabatieh Governorate of Lebanon.
Multiple Lebanese news outlets, including AlMada and Al-Ahed, reported that Israeli warplanes conducted two separate raids in the town of Kfar Reman. The first airstrike occurred at approximately 6:15 am in the al-Sayyar neighborhood, resulting in three civilians sustaining injuries, whilst the second hit an open area of Doha Kfar Reman. This suggests that the three wounded civilians perhaps originated from the al-Sayyar neighbourhood. According to reports from the X users @lebanonfile and @Lebanon24, the injuries sustained in the airstrikes were minor while GLIS MEDIA provided an injury toll of one person “slightly injured”.
Further information and the identities of the three wounded civilians were not disclosed in any of the sources reporting on the attack. However, GLIS MEDIA specified that the first strike was “near Hariri’s house”.
Images from multiple sources capture the aftermath of airstrikes in Kfar Reman. X users @thisislebnews and @Ertikaznews shared a video showing smoke rising from a residential area following the airstrikes. GLIS MEDIA Facebook page posted a series of photographs: one image depicted severely damaged buildings and scattered debris, another showed what appears to be rescue workers walking on rubble near partially collapsed buildings and homes, and a third image showed a white car, damaged and covered in debris.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the airstrikes to Israeli forces.
