On July 1, 2025, three civilians were killed by an alleged Israeli bombing while waiting for humanitarian aid at Nabulsi Roundabout, west of Gaza City. The civilians killed were identified as Ibrahim Khaled al-Soussi, Jamil Jamil Barakat, and Rakan Riad al-Shawa. Social media posts also mentioned up to “dozens” injured in the incident, though their names were not found.
News of their deaths circulated on Facebook, shared by multiple accounts, including both individuals and news agencies. Among those reporting the incident were Mohamed Awad, North Gaza News, Al-Khamsa News Network, Journalist Hani Alshaer, Murad ibn Bayda, Ahmad Muhmoud Ahmed, and Alarabiya Palestine, all of whom confirmed the deaths of three civilians. Other outlets, such as Al-Quds Channel, noted that additional people were injured, while Street Pulse reported that dozens were killed and injured while waiting for aid.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all attributed responsibility for the shelling to the Israeli military.
