On Monday, 2nd June 2025, a boy was killed when he was allegedly shot by the Israeli Military near an aid distribution centre run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation in southern Gaza. The victim was identified as Muhammad Saleh Eid al-Humaidah.
On Twitter/X, Sa7atPlBreaking shared, “A martyr was killed in a shooting attack near the aid distribution area west of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.”
Following the attack, social media users shared condolences for the deceased across Facebook and Twitter/X. Muhammad’s father Abu Imad al-Humaidah posted a heartbreaking tribute to his dear son, including a video of Muhammad singing and smiling. Ayman Anwar al-Humaidah, Muhammad’s cousin, posted: “…I bring you the news of the martyrdom of our cousin, the martyr: Muhammad Saleh Eid al-Humaidah.. by the fire of the Israeli [military] forces near the American company’s aid centre west of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip. We ask God to have mercy on him…” The post included a picture of Muhammad, a boy pictured posing in a suit. Muhammad was also mourned by other relatives, including cousin Muhannad Abu Saddam, cousin Eamen al-Humaidah, cousin Maha Um Merna, and others. According to Genocide in Gaza, which did not provide his exact age, Muhammad was a child.
None of the sources have shared any information about other possible casualties in the incident.

Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to identify the location of the Distribution Center referenced in the sources.
