Airwars assessment
In the morning of Monday, October 16th, 2023, an alleged Israeli airstrike which struck a residential building situated in the vicinity of the al-Zaytoun Police Station, east of Gaza City, reportedly killed two civilians. Further details about the identity of the victims are unknown.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to Israeli forces.
The incident is believed to have occurred at approximately 7:30am local time, according to the Palestinian Press Agency.
