On 6th March 2026, it was reported that Ayman Ahmed al-Nabih was killed by an alleged Israeli airstrike and/or artillery strike, near the park of Al-Mahatta Mosque in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Among local sources found, North Gaza News was the first to report the killing of Ayman Ahmed al-Nabih during the morning of 6th March 2026.
Later that day, posting on Facebook, Ayman’s cousin, Al-Kayal, mourned Ayman. He asked God to “have mercy on him, forgive him, and grant him spacious gardens in Paradise.” In a photo shared alongside the post, Ayman is depicted as an older man with glasses, in a brown jumper and jacket.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military, though they diverged on strike type, with Ahmed Al Muzanin attributing Ayman’s death to an airstrike, and the General Union of Palestinian Journalists in Britain alleging an artillery strike.
