Gaza, November 4, 2023 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians were killed and others wounded since dawn on Saturday, and dozens of homes, buildings, apartments, and public and private property were destroyed in the ongoing Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip by land, sea, and air for the 29th consecutive day. Our correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the home of the Al-Najjar family in a parking lot in the center of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, killing at least four people and wounding dozens. He added that an Israeli airstrike targeted the gate of Al-Nasr Hospital on Al-Nasr Street, north of Gaza City, killing two Palestinians and wounding many others. Israeli warplanes also bombed the main generator at Al-Wafa Hospital in Gaza City, causing a large fire and putting the generator out of service. Additionally, generators and solar power systems in the Al-Rimal neighborhood in central Gaza were targeted. Israeli warplanes bombed a water reservoir supplying several neighborhoods east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Fourteen fishing boats were also burned due to the heavy bombardment along the Rafah coast. Four Palestinians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli airstrike targeted a house belonging to the Makki family near the Al-Israa Tower on Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in central Gaza. Several Palestinians were killed and dozens wounded when two houses belonging to the Salim and Al-Gharabli families were bombed on Al-Mansoura Street in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City. Six Palestinians were killed and others wounded when a house belonging to the Al-Nimr family in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in central Gaza City was bombed. Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes east of the town of Al-Qarara in Khan Younis, destroying two mosques in the Al-Sabra and Al-Zaytoun neighborhoods. Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Azhar University building in the Al-Maghraqa area east of Gaza City, resulting in its near-total destruction. The Israeli military also targeted the Al-Zaharna building in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City, and the Al-Fakhoura school, which shelters thousands of displaced people in the Jabalia refugee camp. They also launched fire attacks across wide areas of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City and bombed several floors and apartments in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood, which is under constant heavy bombardment and fire attacks. Israeli warplanes continue to target Al-Rashid Street, which runs along the coast from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip. Yesterday, a massacre on this street resulted in the deaths of 14 Palestinians, including children and women, in a clear attempt to isolate the southern and central Gaza Strip from Gaza City and its northern regions. It is worth noting that the bombing of hospital entrances was not the first such attack. Israeli warplanes bombed the main entrance to Al-Shifa Medical Complex in western Gaza City, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded. Simultaneously, a convoy of ambulances carrying wounded Palestinians was targeted after departing from the complex towards the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip, with the aim of transferring them to Egyptian hospitals for treatment. Other attacks targeted the Ansar roundabout and Abbas and Rashid Streets. In a preliminary count, the Ministry of Health announced that the number of martyrs and wounded among our people as a result of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip has risen to 9,155 martyrs and more than 24,000 wounded, over 73% of whom are children, women, and the elderly. On another note, the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital in Gaza announced yesterday the martyrdom of four cancer patients due to the hospital's closure caused by Israeli bombing and fuel shortages. It is the only hospital dedicated to treating cancer patients in the Gaza Strip, leaving 70 patients at risk. Sixteen out of 35 hospitals have ceased operations due to Israeli bombing and fuel shortages. Doctors are still forced to perform surgeries without anesthesia, including on those injured in the bombing and women giving birth via cesarean section. Since the start of the aggression against our people on October 7th, the Israeli occupation has tightened its siege on the Gaza Strip, cutting off electricity and water supplies and preventing the entry of fuel upon which hospitals rely to operate generators when power is cut off. The occupation authorities have also prevented patients from leaving the Gaza Strip for treatment in hospitals in Jerusalem and within the 1948 territories, including 2,000 cancer patients. — /S.K.

قصف مولد الكهرباء الرئيسي في مستشفى الوفاء وتدمير مسجد في حي الصبرة غزة 4-11-2023 وفا- استشهد عشرات المواطنين، وأصيب آخرون، منذ فجر اليوم السبت، ودُمرت عشرات المنازل والبنايات والشقق السكنية، والممتلكات العامة والخاصة، في قصف إسرائيلي متواصل على قطاع غزة، برا وبحرا وجوا، لليوم الـ29 على التوالي. وأفاد مراسلنا، بأن طائرات الاحتلال الحربية استهدفت منزلا لعائلة النجار في موقف للمركبات وسط خان يونس جنوب قطاع غزة، ما أدى إلى ارتقاء 4 شهداء على الأقل، وإصابة العشرات بجروح. وأضاف، ان غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت بوابة مستشفى النصر في شارع النصر شمال مدينة غزة، أسفرت عن استشهاد مواطنين، والعديد من الجرحى. كما قصفت طائرات الاحتلال مولد الكهرباء الرئيسي في مستشفى الوفاء بمدينة غزة، ما تتسبب بحريق كبير في المكان، وخروج المولد عن الخدمة، بجانب استهداف المولدات الكهربائية والطاقة الشمسية في حي الرمال وسط غزة. وقصفت طائرات الاحتلال خزانا للمياه يغذي عدة أحياء شرق رفح جنوب قطاع غزة، كما تعرض 14 مركبا للصيد للحرق، بسبب القصف المكثف على طول ساحل بحر رفح. واستشهد أربعة مواطنين، وأصيب آخرون، اثر قصف اسرائيلي استهدف منزلا يعود لعائلة مكي قرب برج الإسراء بشارع عمر المختار وسط قطاع غزة. كما استشهد عدد من المواطنين وأصيب العشرات جراء قصف منزلين في شارع المنصورة بحي الشجاعية شرق مدينة غزة، يعودان لعائلتي سليم والغرابلي. واستشهد 6 مواطنين وأصيب آخرين بقصف منزل لعائلة النمر في حي الصبرة وسط مدينة غزة. وشنت طائرات الاحتلال غارات جوية شرق بلدة القرارة بخان يونس، ودمرت مسجدين في حيي الصبرة والزيتون. وقصفت طائرات الاحتلال مبنى جامعة الأزهر بغزة في منطقة المغراقة شرق مدينة غزة، ما أدى إلى تدميره بشكل شبه كامل. كما استهدفت عمارة الزهارنة بحي النصر في مدينة غزة، ومدرسة الفاخورة التي تؤوي آلاف النازحين في مخيم جباليا، ونفذت أحزمة نارية في مناطق واسعة من حي الزيتون جنوب شرق مدينة غزة، وقصفت عددا من الطوابق والشقق السكنية في حي تل الهوا، الذي يتعرض بشكل متواصل لقصف عنيف، وأحزمة نارية. ويواصل طائرات الاحتلال استهداف شارع الرشيد الممتد على طول الساحل من شمال قطاع غزة إلى جنوبه، والذي شهد يوم أمس مجزرة أسفرت عن استشهاد 14 مواطنا بينهم أطفال ونساء، في تعمد واضح لفصل جنوب ووسط القطاع عن مدينة غزة وشمالها. تجدر الاشارة إلى أن قصف مداخل المستشفيات لم تكن الأولى، اذ قصفت طائرات الاحتلال المدخل الرئيسي لمجمع الشفاء الطبي غرب مدينة غزة، ما أسفر عن وقوع العشرات من الشهداء والجرحى، بالتزامن مع استهداف قافلة مركبات إسعاف تقل جرحى، بعد انطلاقها من المجمع باتجاه معبر رفح في جنوب القطاع، بهدف نقلهم لتلقي العلاج في المستشفيات المصرية، وأخرى عند دوار أنصار، وفي شارعي العباس والرشيد. وفي حصيلة غير نهائية، أعلنت وزارة الصحة، عن ارتفاع حصيلة الشهداء والجرحى من أبناء شعبنا نتيجة العدوان المتواصل على قطاع غزة، إلى 9155 شهيدا، وأكثر من24 ألفا، أكثر من 73% منهم من الأطفال والنساء والمسنين. من جانب آخر، أعلن مستشفى الصداقة التركي الفلسطيني في غزة، يوم امس، استشهاد أربعة مرضى سرطان جراء توقف المستشفى عن العمل بسبب القصف الإسرائيلي ونفاد الوقود، علما أنه الوحيد المخصص لعلاج مرضى السرطان في القطاع، ما جعل 70 مريضا معرضين للخطر. كما توقفت 16 مستشفى من أصل 35 عن العمل جراء القصف الإسرائيلي ونفاد الوقود، والأطباء ما زالوا مجبرين على إجراء العمليات الجراحية دون تخدير، بمن في ذلك أولئك الذين أصيبوا نتيجة القصف والنساء اللواتي يلدن بعمليات قيصرية. ومنذ بدء العدوان على شعبنا في السابع من تشرين الأول/أكتوبر الماضي، شدد الاحتلال الإسرائيلي حصاره على قطاع غزة، وقطع إمدادات الكهرباء والماء، ومنع إدخال الوقود الذي تعتمد عليه المستشفيات في تشغيل مولدات الكهرباء عند انقطاعها. ومنعت سلطات الاحتلال خروج المرضى من قطاع غزة للعلاج في مستشفيات القدس وداخل أراضي عام 48، بمن فيهم 2000 مريض مصابون بالسرطان. ــــــــ /س.ك
