On 9 March 2026, one civilian was reported injured in the center of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, following alleged Israeli gunfire. Multiple sources identified the victim as a 40 to 46-year-old Palestinian woman named Randa Nasrallah al-Bayouk.
Randa was reportedly taken to the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis where she was treated for “moderate to minor” injuries. While most sources reported that she was 46 years old, two sources reported the age of 40.
The gunfire which reportedly injured Randa was described as “random” or “indiscriminate” by multiple Arabic language news outlets and sources on Facebook and X. All sources attributed the gunfire to Israeli forces.
The earliest incident report documented by Airwars was posted by @ShehabAgency at 4:47 p.m., marked “urgent” suggesting that the gunfire likely occurred prior to that.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
