On the afternoon of 9 March 2026, one civilian was killed and several others were injured when an Israeli drone (identified by local sources as a “quadcopter”) was alleged to have dropped a bomb on a group of Palestinians on Kashko Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
According to multiple local reports, including Shehab Agency and Al-Quds Channel, the strike resulted in the immediate injury of several individuals. Subsequent reports from WAFA News Agency and local activists confirmed that a 30 year old man, identified as Imad Ali Felfel, was killed as a result of the attack. Medical sources indicated that the injured were transported to nearby medical points for treatment.
Visual evidence and social media reports from the scene corroborated the use of a drone-dropped munition striking citizens in the residential street.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
