On November 9, 2023, an unconfirmed number of civilians were injured as a result of alleged Israeli airstrikes near the Indonesian Hospital.

The Ministry of Interior reported “a number of injuries among the displaced and wounded in the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza due to the violent fire belt launched by the occupation aircraft a short while ago in the Tel al-Zaatar area in the vicinity of the hospital.”

The strike was captured through video, with sources Mahmoud Mehanna and Ahmad Jamal uploading the same footage on Facebook. The video, from the perspective of a man sheltering behind a car, shows several explosions detonating in the near distance. At the end of the video, the man runs into a building right behind him. Another man is seen running towards them to also seek shelter. As the explosions briefly pause, more people are seen running out of white tents seen on the other side of the car towards the building.

In the same building, Taysir Zanouun filmed the plumes from the explosions as they detonated in front of him. Several men are seen running from the white tents into the buildings for cover while the explosions set off behind them. The caption of the video echoes the statement from the Ministry of Interior with the timestamp 18:32.

Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military.
