On the afternoon of 10 October 2025, two people were reportedly killed as a result of alleged Israeli shelling in the Al-Satar al-Gharbi area to the south of Hamad City and northwest of Khan Younis, southern Gaza. According to al-Quds News, the citizens were attacked on Sheikh Mohammed al-Najjar Institute Street.
Ibrahim Ismail al-Alami and Muhammad al-Alami were reportedly killed as a result of Israel shelling from an airstrike on a group of civilians. The Civil Defense reported the recovery of two people in the aftermath of the attack, and their names were provided by sources Palestine Information Center, Safa News and the Khan Younis Post via posts to Twitter/X.
As Ibrahim and Muhammad were reportedly killed together and have the same last name, they have been recorded as relatives. This will be updated should additional information become available.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strikes to the Israeli Military. While the majority of sources identified the attack as shelling, the Khan Younis Post and @PalinfoAr referred to the attack as an airstrike.
