On Saturday, November 11, 2023, an Israeli strike allegedly struck a house opposite Badra Bakery in the Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City, the Gaza Strip. There were reportedly 10 people killed and others wounded in the attack, though the names of the victims were not found among local sources.

This incident was reported by Shehab Agency and Al-Mayadeen, which stated that deaths and injuries had occurred from the attack, and was circulated by a number of individuals. Some, including Awda Channel on Facebook, only reported “injuries” without providing a death toll. Later reports, including those by Al-Mayadeen, reported that there were 10 killed.

Many reports of this incident included videos of the attack or its aftermath. The Palestinian Refugee Portal post shared a video showing the transfer of a man’s body from the attack, reportedly to Baptist Hospital, which “has almost no capabilities.” It was not clear whether the man had been killed or injured. The video showed him being carried into the hospital, passing many gurneys left outside with wounded people on them.

Abo Osama Almunadel’s post on Facebook also stated that “the martyred and wounded were transferred to Baptist Hospital east of Gaza City due to the inability to reach Al-Shifa Hospital.”

Other videos filmed by nooh.xp and posted by Al Jazeera and other users on Facebook showed a large group of people making way for a truck, waving it in the direction of the “massive damage” inflicted. The video shows the person filming walking through devastating damage to houses and buildings, as others stand in the street pointing and staring at the rubble and the destruction of once-intact buildings now reduced to debris. The video also shows power lines that have been damaged and are now broken and lying in the street, with smoke rising from the rubble.

Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to Israeli forces. While most of the sources reported the “shelling”, Palestine Voice wrote about an “airstrike.”
