Airwars Assessment
Two civilians, an elderly man and a child, were injured when Israeli forces allegedly fired gunshots “indiscriminately” towards tents of displaced people in the Al-Mughraqa area and near the “Netzarim” axis in the central Gaza Strip on February 14, 2026.
An unidentified girl was shot in the head by the Israeli military, according to @PalInfoAr and additional local sources. A 60-year-old man was brought to the same hospital, Al-Awda in Nuseirat, after being shot in the foot.
Abu Amjad Khamis offered more detail in his Facebook post, sharing that several Palestinians were injured as a result of the gunfire, and that both the child and man were being monitored and treated. He reported that the girl’s condition was critical.
Most sources report having received the information from medical staff at the hospital, via the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
