On April 14th, 2025, at least one person, a fisherman, was allegedly injured after the Israeli military opened fire on a fishing boat in al-Mawasi, located in Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
While media outlets such as AlarabyTV, Al-Hadath Palestine Newspaper, Philadelphia News, Radio Science, and Media News, along with various Facebook and Twitter sources, reported that only one fisherman was injured, both @PalinfoAr on Twitter and Fifth News Network on Facebook reported that two individuals were injured in a shooting incident in al-Mawasi.
