أعلنت خلية الإعلام الأمني في العراق، اليوم السبت، أن عملية عسكرية بغطاء جوي تنفَّذ ضد تنظيم «داعش» في محافظة ديالى شمال شرقي بغداد. وقالت قيادة العمليات المشتركة العراقية في بيان صحافي إنه «استمرارا لنهجها التعرضي وعملياتها النوعية لملاحقة خلايا التنظيم الإرهابي (داعش) وقتل عناصره المنهزمة وباستخدام قطعات برية وجوية وقطعات النخبة، بدأت قيادة العمليات المشتركة عمليات (وعد الحق) في قاطع عمليات ديالى». وأضاف البيان الذي نقلته وكالة الأنباء الألمانية أن «القوات الجوية باشرت بتوجيه ثلاث ضربات ضد أوكار العدو ومضافاته بالاستناد الى المعلومات الإستخبارية الدقيقة وتخطيط ومتابعة خلية الاستهداف في قيادة العمليات المشتركة، وما زالت العمليات مستمرة». وأكد أن «القوات الأمنية، التي صممت على إزالة الإرهاب بكل أشكاله، ستستمر بتعقبه ومتابعة عناصره وأوكاره حتى القضاء عليه».
