On 15 October 2025, two people were reportedly killed and several others injured as a result of an alleged Israeli drone attack on a group of civilians in Al-Shujaiya neighbourhood to the east of Gaza City.
Various news sources including Palestine Today and Palestine Information reported the death of two civilians as a result of a bombing from an Israeli drone. Palestine Today also reported the death of several citizens while all other reports, such as a post from the Libyan-Palestinian Observatory on Facebook, specified two dead in the attack with several others injured.
Most sources cited the cause of the attack as a bomb from a drone attack, however posts on X/Twitter from Monitoring Network and Ahmed Fayez also stated that the Israeli military was targeting the neighbourhood via artillery shelling on the same date.
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military.
