At least one man was injured by alleged Israeli gunfire on Al-Baher street in the center of Khan Younis, Gaza on February 16, 2026.

@safaps reported on Telegram that a Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire on Al-Baher street in Khan Younis. Al-Quds Channel referred to “a man” as having been shot on Al-Baher street, with Karama Radio specifying he was “a young man.”

Raya News quoted medical sources at Nasser Medical Complex as stating that two citizens had been wounded “outside of the deployment areas” in the center of Khan Younis.

Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Israeli military.

Reports of the incident mention Al-Baher street (شارع البحر) in Khan Younis (خان يونس), for which the generic coordinates are: 31.349284, 34.291422. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.

Geolocation Observation: Yellow Line

The coordinates provided by Airwars are outside the boundaries of the 'Yellow Line' officially published by the Israeli military on October 14, 2025. Although the boundaries of the Yellow Line are contested and have been subject to subsequent changes by the Israeli military, Airwars applies the initial boundaries declared on 14 October 2025 for analytical consistency.
