On March 24, 2026, a number of people, including a 17-year-old girl, were injured by alleged Israeli gunfire in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip.

Following the incident, multiple sources on social media posted that “a number of injuries were caused by Israeli occupation forces, including the injury of a 17-year-old girl, as a result of heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles towards the tents of displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.”

The sources found seem to be nearly identical, so this incident is currently graded as a “single source claim,” and civilian harm status as “weak” until further information is found.
