Shortly before 10:51 AM on Friday, October 25, 2024, Israeli forces allegedly bombed the vicinity of the Halima Al-Sadia School, which shelters displaced people in Jabalia Al-Nazla, North Gaza. Reports noted that a number of people were injured in the incident. Although the exact details of the casualties remain unclear, the videos showed at least five injured civilians, including a child.
Twitter/X account of Al Arabiya TV (@Alarabytv_BRK) reported the incident at 10:51 AM while Twitter/X account of Al-Jazeera Arabic (@AJA_Egypt) reported the incident at 11:00 AM, both marking it as urgent. Various social media sources reported injuries resulting from the attack.
Facebook post by Alia Atshan contained a video report filmed by Seraj TV, showing four injured men and a child – one of them a young man with a serious arm injury lying on a stretcher, three men with light injuries going out of the ambulance, and a teenager with a leg injury who was jumping on one leg assisted by a paramedic. Based on these images and the references to a large number of civilians injured, Airwars has estimated the civilian injury toll to be at least five.
Sources varied on the nature of the bombardment, with some stating “quadcopter drones” dropped bombs, whilst others reported that there was artillery shelling of the area.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to Israeli forces.
