Airwars assessment
At least one civilian, a child, was injured in alleged Russian or regime strikes on villages of Al Sahen on August 6, 2021.
@HalabTodayTV reported that “Regime forces and Russia target with laser-guided missiles the villages of Al-Sahn in Al-Ghab Plain and Joseph in Jabal Al-Zawiya, causing the injury of a child”.
Syrian Civil Defense also posted that a child was injured in the strikes and a tweet from @mohmad_rasheed included an image of a young boy with injuries to his face.
A tweet from @7WE4UNp8FButyw4 identified the shells used as laser-guided, along with various other sources.
Sources were conflicted as to who was responsible, with multiple sources attributing the strikes to both Russia and the regime while @mzmgr941pointed out that both Russian and Iranian reconnaissance planes were flying close by.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Al Sahen (الصحن), for which the generic coordinates are: 35.719676, 36.405663. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
