Airwars assessment

Reports estimated that between 11 and 23 civilians were killed and between 30 and 70 more were injured airstrikes on Idlib City – though it was unclear whether Russia or the Assad regime were to blame.

Responsibility for the strikes was attributed to both regime and Russian warplanes by the Syrian Network for Human Rights and the Shaam News Network. Halab Today blamed solely Russia, and published a video showing an injured man looking for his son, who he’d lost during the airstrikes.

Videos posted by Syrian Press Center show the physical destruction and fires caused by the airstrikes, which reportedly occurred close to a church and a market, destroying buildings, shops and private property.

The local time of the incident is unknown.
