Reports estimated that between eight and 10 civilians were killed and an additional five to 13 more wounded, including two children, in airstrikes on Bazza square in Old Aleppo, according to local media. The majority of sources blamed the regime for the event, though one blamed Russia and a significant number of others didn’t identify the culprit.

According to Syrian Press Centre, the airstrikes struck a gathering of civilians in Bazza Square in the Maadi district of old Aleppo.

Most reports put the death toll at eight, though Smart said that as many as 10 had died. Many reported noted that the death count was likely to rise as the civil defence were still attempting to remove bodies from the rubble.

Aksalser, Baladi and Radio Al Kull all blamed the regime. An initial report by LCCSY pointed to Russia; however, a subsequent tweet appeared to blame the regime.

Halab News also identified an unknown civilian.
