Airwars assessment
Two male children were killed and several more wounded, including women and children, from airstrikes targeting the town of Dara Azza. Local sources, including Halab Today and @AleppoNN, identified Russian planes as responsible for the airstrikes.
However, DMC published footage showing “the moment explosive barrels” – a weapon known to be used by the Assad regime – were dropped on Dara Azza.
A video published by Halab Today shows the large cloud of dust covering the town of Dara Azza following the airstrikes. Images posted by Daratezza Media depict the destruction to buildings caused by the airstrikes, many of which were reduced to rubble.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the town of Darat Izza (دارة عزة), for which the generic coordinates are: 36.28247, 36.85216. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
