Six or seven civilians died 20 more were wounded, including women and children, in an alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on Aleppo’s Al Mayysar neighbourhood, according to sources on the ground.
Halab News listed six unidentified civilians as killed in a Russian strike. But Shahba Press put the death toll at seven.
Alaraby reported that “the media activist, Louay Barakat, said that ‘a Russian warplane targeted the Al Mayssar neighbourhood, east of the city of Aleppo, with several air strikes, killing six civilians and wounding more than 20 others, including women children”.
But Shaam suggested that the regime may have played a part in the attack. It reported: “Russian and Al-Assad planes also raided the neighbourhoods of Al-Mayser, Sheikh Saeed, Al-Dikar, Bab Al-Nasr, Karam Al-Nozha, Mashhad, Sheikh Fares, Al-Qatana and Al-Haidariyah, which led to the fall 26 martyrs.”
The local time of the incident is unknown.
