Five civilians from one family including three children and one woman died and up to 20 more were wounded in an airstrike on Aleppo’s Bustan al Qasr neighbourhood. Most sources blamed Russia for the attack, though one also pointed to the Syrian regime.
According to Zamanalwasl, “Russian aircraft targeted the Bustan al Qasr neighbourhood with a rocket, which resulted in the deaths of five civilians from one family, including children.”
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights didn’t apportion blame, but said that the victims included three children and a woman.
@Syriapost1 and @SYR_REV_NEWS 20 added that a further 20 people were injured.
However, the Syrian Network for Human Rights also blamed the regime, reporting that “at least four civilians (three children and their father) died due to government warplanes (allies) missiles firing on Bustan Al Qasr neighborhood in Aleppo city, October 18, 2016.”
Halab News, who said that Russia was responsible, listed five victims from one family including one unidentified civilian.
