Three civilians were killed and several more were wounded, including children, in airstrikes on Kafr Naha, according to local media – though sources were conflicted as to whether Russia or the Syrian regime were to blame. Many sources did not attribute blame to any belligerent.

Syria News Desk quoted media opposition activist, Mohamed Nur, who said: “‘the Russian aviation carried out raids with cluster rocket and stereochemistry on the residential areas of the town center of Kafr naha and on its eastern and southern edges. Three civilians were killed and several more wounded. Civilian homes were also destroyed.”

Qasioun and Shahba Press were among other sources attributing the event to Moscow.

According to a tweet by @SRG_Syria said that “explosive barrels” were dropped on “the Zahrat al-Madaen Society” in Kafr Naha, thereby denoting a regime action. Another of other sources referred only to “warplanes”.
