Between four and nine civilians – including one woman – were killed, and as many as 24 were wounded when barrel bombs were reportedly dropped on a six story building in Sukkari neighbourhood, Aleppo.
Sources were conflicted regarding who was to blame. Some sources attributed the blame to Syrian regime “helicopters”, while others blamed Russian warplanes for the alleged airstrikes.
Reports have suggested that the material destruction to the civilian housing was devastating, with photographic evidence to support the claim.
Additionally, as many as two families were trapped under the rubble with dozens reported wounded.
Aleppo24 and Ara News claimed that as many as five explosive barrel bombs were used. However, LCCSY reported that Russian missiles caused the damage.
