Between two and seven civilians were killed, and many others were wounded, in a continuous bombardment on Al Bawabiya, Aleppo. Sources are however, were conflicted as to who was to blame. Some attribute the blame to Russian warplanes, and others to the Syrian regime. One source blames both belligerents.
Syrianpc reported that the raid was both an air and artillery bombardment. Other sources reported on the use of cluster bombs, surface rockets, vacuum missiles and mortal shelling.
According to Syrian Human Rights Committee, “in the governorate of Aleppo, 77 people (73) were killed by the bombing of the besieged neighbourhoods of Aleppo and the towns of Kfarnuran, Atareb and al-Bu’abiyya in the countryside of the governorate as well as in the city of Idlib, and (3) by mortar shells in the neighbourhoods controlled by the regime, the system.”
Sources claimed that those who were wounded had serious injuries.
