Three named civilians died in an alleged Russia or regime airstrike on Muhassan, according to local media.
Orient news reported: “Russian warplanes on Tuesday [Jan 24th] targeted the town of Mohsin in the eastern suburb of Deir al-Zour, resulting in civilian casualties: a martyr and wounded.
“According to Deir Ezzor 24, Russian aircraft launched intensive air raids on the Al-Labad neighborhood in the city of Mohsin, resulting in the massacre of civilians, along with many wounded, and extensive destruction in the neighbourhood”.
Deir Ezzor noted that “a civilian and his wife were injured” in a Russian strike.
Microsyria, All4Syria said that the regime carried out raids on the town. The Syrian Network for Human Rights also pointed to the regime, reporting: “3 civilians, including 2 women, died in Syrian regime warplanes missiles fired on Al Labed neighborhood in Mohasan city in Deir Ez-Zour governorate eastern suburbs, January 24, 2017.”
According to LCCSY, “two women were killed and others injured after air raids on Muhassan in the eastern countryside”.
