Airwars assessment
On July 31, 2017, three civilians were reportedly killed, and others were wounded, in alleged Russian and or Syrian regime raids in Rasim Awaed, near Akirbat town in Hama, according to local media. Sources were conflicted as to who was to blame. Baladi News blamed the Syrian regime, while all others attributed blame to Russia.
According to Baladi, “warplanes of the regime forces launched a number of raids on the villages of Akirbat district which resulted in the deaths of three civilians and wounding others from the village of Hassia in the area located in the eastern countryside of Hama.”
There were also an unspecific number of wounded civilians in Rasim Awaed town.
There are no other details at this time.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Rasim Awaed (رسم العوايد), for which the generic coordinates are: 35.002283, 37.459817. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
