One woman was killed from injuries sustained in the morning of July 31st, following an airstrike on Dablan. Sources were conflicted as to who was to blame. None explicitly blamed Russian warplanes, however there was Russian bombing in and around the vicinity at the time of the strike. Other sources blamed “military aircraft” or “unknown” warplanes for the strikes.

Euphrates Post reported that “military aircraft launched several simultaneous air strikes with cluster bombs indiscriminately targeting civilian houses at approximately 2:30 am today, targeting the towns of Kashmat, Dablan al Ta’as and al A’shara.”

One source reported that as many as four entire families were wounded, putting the number of injured as dozens.

According to Dablan Net, there was indiscriminate “shelling of the village of Diblan by cluster bombs”.
