A family of five was killed on a boat on the Euphrates river by an alleged Russian airstrike, local sources reported.
Samer Turki Al Abdullah and Khader Turki Al-Abdullah, along with three children, were trying to escape from the town of Mohassein, according to the Euphrates Post. They were pulled from the water but did not survive.
Al Jazeera attributed the strikes to the Syrian regime.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Al Bouswid neighborhood. Mohassein city (مدينة موحسن حي البوسويد), for which the generic coordinates are: 35.2257487, 40.3109038. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
