A teacher and several students were injured in airstrikes that shelled al-Samiriya village school in Aleppo, according to local media. All sources either blamed Russian warplanes for the raids or did not attribute any blame to a belligerent.
The rockets and missiles were launched in the vicinity of the school complex; however, only partial damage occurred to the buildings and some of the furniture, according to sources on the ground.
Smart News – who blamed Russia – alleged that cluster bombs were fired on the village school, wounding one of the teachers, who was then transferred to the hospital. Additionally, it was reported that the school suffered damage to the windows and doors.
Images published showed members of the Civil Defence inspecting the vicinity and removing unexploded ordnance from the school grounds.
Only one source – @abdkramalhalbi – reported that students were also caught up in the wounded toll.
