Two civilians were killed and four others were injured in airstrikes which struck a Aisha Um al Mouminin Mosque and educational building in Al-Habeet just before Friday prayers, according to sources on the ground. Local media lamed both the Syrian regime and Russia for the raids.

According to Revolutionary Forces of Syria Media Office, “The military aircraft bombed mosques and civilian gatherings, exploiting the rituals of civilians to perform Friday prayers in the countryside of Idlib, where they bombed a mosque in the town of Habit in rural Idlib.”

The Smart News agency reported that “incendiary rockets had struck ‘Aisha’ mosque.”

The shelling caused the cellar of the mosque to burn, as well as damage and fires t o the educational building annexed to it.
