At least nine civilians, mainly children, were killed by alleged Russian airstrikes on Aqrabat camp for Internally Displaced People, north of the town of Hass in Idlib province, on March 20th, 2018, according to local sources.

The Local Coordination Committees of Syria (LCCSy) reported that seven civilians had been killed and that there were dozens of wounded after “Russian airstrikes with rocket-propelled grenades targeting at Aqrabat camp for Internally Displace People at noon today.”

Smart News Agency reported that “warplanes targeted the camp of the town of Hass in two areas, killing 10 civilians and injuring 10 others, most of them children. The Civil Defence teams brought the victims to nearby hospitals.” Khaled Althman reported on Facebook that air-to-air rockets and rockets had been used.

Adnan Mando, a member of the “Free Police” in Hess, told Smart News Agency that the camp had been completely destroyed by the fires caused by the bombing.
