One woman was killed and up to three civilians were injured in alleged Russian and/or Syrian regime air and artillery strikes on the village of Al Naqir, Idlib governorate, on March 27th, 2018, according to local sources.

HalabTodayTV reported that “a woman was killed and several people were wounded, and more than 10 houses were destroyed by Russian raids targeting the village of Al Naqir in the southern countryside of Idlib.”

@omaralhaj15 tweeted that the name of the killed woman was Walida Hassan Al Hussein and that three other women were wounded, mentioning four airstrikes and eight artillery shells targeting the village. @HadiAlabdallah reported the use of phosphorus.

Local activists told Smart News Agency that Russian warplanes launched “four raids on the village, as the regime forces bombed them with a number of missiles from their positions at the ‘Bridge’ checkpoint, north of the city of Hama, killing a woman and wounding two civilians, in addition to destroying more than six houses.”

The Syrian Network for Human Rights, however, reported that Russian airstrikes targeted the tents of Internally Displaced People west of Al Naqir village, adding that several civilians had been wounded and that two tents were burnt.
