A civilian was wounded during an alleged Syrian regime and/or Russian air raid on the town of Kafar Lata in Idlib province on April 1, 2018, according to local sources. A missile struck near a primary school causing damage to the building and its furniture.

Smart News said the aircraft were likely Russian, however, the Syrian Network for Human Rights (SN4HR) reported Syrian regime warplanes were responsible for the strike.

According to SN4HR, “Syrian regime warplanes fired a missile near Kafr Lata Primary School in Kafr Lata village in Jabal al-Zaweya area in Idlib governorate southern suburbs, partially damaging its building and furniture, on April 1, 2018. It should be noted that the school is equipped to receive IDPs from Eastern Ghout.”
