Up to three civilians, including a child, died in alleged Russian or Syrian regime shelling on Kafar Nabil on April 27th, 2019, local media said.
According to the White Helmets, “a cluster targeting the town of Kar Nabil killed a child martyr and caused injury to a woman.” The Step News Agency put the death toll at three – and blamed Russia.
However, according to the Syrian Network for Human Rights, the child Hussein al Ghannoum was killed in “regime shelling”.
Edlib Media Center reported that a cluster bomb “attack on the perimeter of the town of Kafar Nabil” killed a child, but the source didn’t identify the culprit.
Fresh Syria, however, blamed the regime, reporting that “the forces of the Assad regime stationed in the village of Abu Dali carried out cluster bomb attacks on outskirts of the city of Kafar Nubul, resulting in the death of a child and the injury of a child and a woman, who were transferred to the city hospital for treatment.”
There were also reports blaming rockets fired by the regime for the child’s death.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
