A civilian male was killed in alleged Russian airstrikes on the town of Al Habit, Hama governorate, on May 18th, 2019, according to local sources.
The Syrian Human Rights Committee wrote that: “Hasan Abdul Qadir Shishakli, from the town of Halfaya, in the northern countryside of Hama Governorate, died as a result of aerial bombardments by Russian warplanes that targeted the town of Al Habit in the countryside of the southern Idlib governorate today, Saturday, 18-5-2019.”
According to Bawaba Hamah on Facebook, the victim died on May 18th a couple of days after the strikes, but all other sources reported that the strikes took place on May 18th.
All sources blamed Russia for the airstrikes.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
The victims were named as:
