A mother and her two daughters were killed by alleged Syrian regime or Russian airstrikes on a residential neighbourhood in the town of Muhambel, Idlib governorate, on July 24th, 2019. An unknown number of other civilians were reported wounded.

@syrian191124 tweeted: “Three civilians were killed and others were wounded as warplanes targeted the town of Muhambel in the western countryside of Idlib.” Smart News Agency reported that three women were killed in airstrikes.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights reported that “at least three women (a mother and her two daughters) [were] killed as Syrian regime fixed-wing warplanes fired several missiles on Muhambel town in Idlib governorate western suburbs, on July 24, 2019.”

While most sources blamed the Syrian regime for the strikes, Step Agency pointed to Russia as the responsible belligerent.
