Airwars assessment
Local sources alleged that Russian or Syrian airstrikes or missile strikes targeted Al Baouabiya in Aleppo on July 26th, killing up to three civilians and wounding three others including a woman. Sources said that the attacks started in the morning and continued through the afternoon.
One of the victims Sari Al-Taleb, aged 27, used to work at Al Baouabiya school. The other victim was named as Ramadan Al-Akhras, aged 35.
According to the Syrian Network for Human Rights, “two civilians were killed as fixed-wing Syrian regime warplanes fired several missiles on al Bawabiya village in Aleppo”.
Syrian Civil Defense teams who were at the scene reported that the attack was carried out in the afternoon and added that an unknown number of others were wounded. Smart News claimed that thee others were wounded, including a woman. Later, Arabi21 news said that the death toll raised to three.
Local sources attributed responsibility to both Russian forces and the Syrian regime for this incident.
