Five civilians, including at least one child and two women, from the same family were killed in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on the city of Al-Lataminah in the northern Hama countryside on the evening of July 26th, 2019, according to local sources. Up to four others were reported injured.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights stated that “at least five civilians from the same family, including a child and three women, were killed as warplanes which we believe were Russian fired missiles on Al-Lataminah town, on July 29th.”

While some sources reported four killed civilians, Abd Al Hakim Suliman identified the names of five killed victims. The victims were named as Khalil Ibrahim Al Suleiman, his wife Nahla Muhammad Al Khaled, his daughter Zahra Khalil Al Suleiman, his 12-year-old son Mahmoud Khalil Al Suleiman and his cousin, the young woman Bayan Muhammad Al Khaled.

According to Shaam News Network, “four civilians were dead in the Russian bombing in Al-Lataminah.” @HalabTodayTV also tweeted that four civilians were killed and that two others were wounded as a result of a Russian airstrike targeting the vicinity of the city of Al-Lataminah in the northern Hama countryside.

@anas3ns reported that “four martyrs were killed, including three women, and wounding others, including children, in the Russian airstrikes on the city of Al-Lataminah in the northern Hama countryside.”

A source from the Syrian Civil Defence told Al Araby that a Russian warplane targeted civilian homes in the city of Al-Lataminah, killing four civilians, including two children, and wounding four others in the evening.

Smart News Agency reported that 16 civilians were killed and wounded on Monday by aerial bombardment of Russian warplanes and Syrian forces on northern Syria’s central Hama city. They also reported that five civilians, including two women and one child, were killed and three others, including a child were wounded in raids by Russian warplanes targeting residential areas in the town of Al-Lataminah.

While some sources reported that civilian homes and residential areas were targeted, Abd Al Hakim Suliman wrote that the victims died as the result of strikes on agricultural land near Al-Lataminah.

Sources blamed both Russia and the Syrian regime for the strikes.
