Two civilians, including a child, were reported killed in airstrikes on Kafr Nabl, Idlib, on August 17th.
Syrian Network for Human Rights stated that “Russian forces killed two civilians from the same family in Kafr Nabl city in Idlib: Othman Abdul Naser al Ta’ta’ and the child Abdul Naser Shahhoud al Ta’ta’ were killed as warplanes we believe were Russian fired missiles near a motorcycle carrying them in west of Kafr Nabl city in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate, on August 17th.” Yasser Tata, a relative of those killed, identified the child Abdul as being the nephew of Othman, the man killed.
Graphic images posted by @AyhamStaif show the bodies of those killed next to the motorcycle they were reportedly riding.
Other sources referred to “two martyrs” without specifying the age of the victims.
Sources predominantly attributed the attack to Russia, yet both the Syrian regime and Russian forces were named by a number of sources in reports of the incident.
