Airwars assessment
One civilian was killed and another one injured in an airstrike on the outskirts of Kfarouma town, Idlib governorate, on November 7th, 2019, according to local sources.
@IdlibPlus tweeted that “a civilian was martyred as a result of Russian warplanes targeting the outskirts of Kfarouma town in the southern countryside of Idlib with airstrikes”.
MMC did not specify the belligerent, but did report that vacuum missiles were used. @AleppoAMC also reported that vacuum missiles were used and attributed them to Russia.
Step News Agency’s Idlib reporter, Hassan Al Mohammad, said that Russian warplanes were responsible for the strikes, “killing one person and injuring another, in addition to material damage to the property of civilians and their homes”.
A tweet from @ufuk_sy reported “a martyr and several wounded in the town of Kafr Rumah, as a result of the Russian warplanes bombing with high-explosive missiles” and various other sources also referred to “several” wounded.
Arabi21 identified that the strikes were launched against “residential compounds in the de-escalation zone in Idlib Governorate.” At the time of reporting one civilian casualty, “the civil defense teams are still continuing search and rescue work at the site of the bombing.”
All of the sources that identified a culprit in their reporting blamed Russian forces.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
