At least one child was injured in alleged Russian strikes on the outskirts of the town of al-Rami, Syria, on September 4, 2021.

The Al-Jisr Network correspondent reported that a child was injured by Russian warplanes bombing on the outskirts of the town of al-Rami.

Baladi News added that the child was injured to varying degrees and that he was taken to the nearest medical point by the Civil Defense teams.

Macro Media Center provided the name of the child injured: Abdo Ahmed Asali, and a correspondent for Zaman Al Wasl added that he was eight years old.

Syrian Civil Defense identified the location of the strikes as being on a poultry farm. According to Zaman Al Wasl, the bombings occurred “close to the lines of contact separating Assad’s forces and the Syrian opposition within the Jabal al-Zawiya area”.

All of the sources blamed the strikes on Russia, and Zaman Al Wasl identified a Russian (Sukhoi-35) warplane as being used in the attack.
